Be aware that this is an encryption using a built in encryption key. While this will only deter casual inspection, a technically experienced person, given enough time and determination, could be able to reverse-engineer our software to determine the key and that person could thus be able to access the contents of the script file if they can obtain a copy of it.

This limitation is especially relevant if you consider to distribute a script widely that contains passwords, API keys, or similar sensitive information.
