ABOUT PYROTRANS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This file describes the PyroTrans family of products. PyroTrans is a file transfer suite for file exchange via ISDN, modem, internet and internet-FTP. Depending on on your communication need it is currently offered in two versions: PYROTRANS MODEM/ISDN/TCPIP: --------------------------- Complete package (manual client, server and automatic batch mode) for file transfer over ISDN, modem and LAN/internet (but not FTP). It supports the standard Eurofile Transfer and also offers a proprietary file transfer protocol called PyroTrans which features resume of broken transfers, data compression and encryption. PYROBATCH-FTP: -------------- Specialized subset of the PyroTrans Suite. This program offers automatic file exchange via internet FTP protocol (with third party standard FTP servers). It basically consists of the PyroBatch module with FTP communication and allows automatic sending and receiving of files without user intervention and can be started from other software, e.g. from a scheduler to send updated web sites to web servers at night. ALL COMPONENTS: --------------- The programs automatically switch between English and German language, depending on your system's settings (under Windows 9x this is the same language as Windows, under Windows NT it is the Regional setting in the Control Panel). The programs can be tested for 30 days. During that time the programs will show reminders from time to time. After that time it must be either purchased or deleted. DISTRIBUTION, COPYRIGHT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PyroTrans is (C) 2000 - 2008 by EmTec Innovative Software, Markus Schmidt This is a license summary -- see the license information in the setup program for details. You may use and test the program for 30 days in evaluation mode. Then you have to order a license code or remove it from your system. No warranty of any kind can be given for damage caused through PyroTrans directly or indirectly or any other way. The evaluation version of PyroTrans may be distributed freely via tele- communication, shareware dealers or as a free add on for hard- or software products in form of an unmodified ZIP archive, or as unzipped files in an single directory with the name beginning with "PyroTrans" and with no file added, removed or modified. The following restrictions apply to distribution. * PyroTrans must not be used in an army environment or for purposes that are related to the military or to arms production. * PyroTrans may be included into shareware CDs if the ZIP file is left intact or if all files from the ZIP file are provided in a single directory the name of which begins with PyroTrans. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. INSTALLATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To install PyroTrans just type SETUP at a command prompt. The windowed install program will handle the rest. If you encounter problems of any kind, please try to install PyroTrans into a fresh directory.
