ABOUT MOONY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the Version 3.x of the ISDN Call Monitor Moony. Moony is a full featured program that monitors incoming calls via ISDN boards and shows them on screen when they come in (including names of known callers) and logs them. It can show calls to different numbers in different colors, map sounds to incoming and destination numbers, send SMS messages and much more. As a special feature it offers a versatile software telephone answering machine, a fax receive option, a printer-based fax sending and a software telephone. The program automatically switches between English and German language, depending on your system's settings (under Windows 95 this is the same language as Windows, since Windows NT it is the Regional setting in the Control Panel). The program can be tested for 30 days. During that time the program will show a reminder instead of the phone number of every third call. If you are using the answering machine and/or faxreceive option in evaluation mode, a reminder window will pop up before you play a voice message or view a fax. After that time it must be either purchased or deleted. You may use and test the program for 30 days in evaluation mode. Then you have to order a license code or remove it from your system. No warranty of any kind can be given for damage caused through Moony directly or indirectly or any other way. The evaluation version of Moony may be distributed freely via tele- communication, shareware dealers or as a free add on for hard- or software products in form of an unmodified ZIP archive, or as unzipped files in an single directory with the name beginning with "Moony" and with no file added, removed or modified. The following restrictions apply to distribution. * Moony must not be used in an army environment or for purposes that are related to the military or to arms production. * Moony may be included into shareware CDs if the ZIP file is left intact or if all files from the ZIP file are provided in a single directory the name of which begins with Moony. INSTALLATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To install Moony just type SETUP at a command prompt. The windowed install program will handle the rest. If you encounter problems of any kind, please try to install Moony into a fresh directory.
